Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit
The Office for the Treasury and Public Credit is the finance ministry of Mexico. In Mexico the Treasurer of the Republic is the head of the Office for the Treasury and Public Credit, and is a member of the federal executive cabinet and is named to the post by the President of the Republic. Mexican Customs Bureau is part of the Mexican Tax Administration Service, the government body entrusted with the collection of taxes at the national level. Both departments answer to the Treasurer.
