The Serbian Eurovision PR Manager, Duška Vučinić-Lučić said that RTS would use the same selection process as in 2010, titled Pesma za Evropu - Diseldorf 2011 . On 19 January 2011, RTS announced that Kornelije Kovač and his two daughters Aleksandra Kovač and Kristina Kovač would each compose a song and select the performer for their entry, thus competing against each other.
