Settibalija
The Settibalija, also known as Settikula are a subgroup of the Balija social group in India. Many live in the East and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh and they tend to be farmers and land lords. The Settibalija, along with some other communities such as the Yadavs and kapu are one of the dominant communities in the East and West Godavari districts that form the "rice bowl" of the state.
However, the ChettiBalija of Rayalaseema region belong to forward class and were trader- warrior-kings in Nayak period and Vijayanagara Empire.
