Seven hills of Seattle


The seven hills of Seattle are the hills the city was built on and around, though there is no consensus on exactly which hills the unofficial term refers to. The term is based on several other cities, most notably Rome and Constantinople, which make the same claim.

The Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association sponsors an annual "Seven Hills of Seattle" walk. Seattle's sister city, Bergen, Norway, is known as the City of Seven Mountains.
