Shân Legge-Bourke
The Honourable Dame Elizabeth Shân Josephine Legge-Bourke is a Welsh landowner who served as the 2nd Lord Lieutenant of Powys.
The only child of Wilfred Bailey, 3rd Baron Glanusk, Legge-Bourke inherited Glanusk Park upon his death in 1948. She married Capt. William Legge-Bourke, a Conservative MP for the Isle of Ely, in 1964 and they have three children:
In 1998, Legge-Bourke was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Powys. She was the subject of a BBC Wales series entitled The Lady of Glanusk in 2006.
Already Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order, she was appointed Dame Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in the 2015 New Year Honours.
