Shadow Creek Golf Course


Shadow Creek is an 18-hole golf course in North Las Vegas, Nevada, designed by Tom Fazio and built by Steve Wynn in 1990. It hosted a 2018 match play challenge between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

History

It opened in 1989, it was built on a site, at a reported cost of sixty million dollars. During construction, a berm was created that blocked any view from the outside. An estimated 21,000 trees of more than 200 varieties were planted. Initially, only invited casino guests of Steve Wynn or the Mirage Resorts properties could play the course, and tee times were one hour apart, so only a handful of groups played on any day. Today the course is open to all MGM Resorts International property guests.

Course

The course was originally, extended to during a 2008 redesign, when a short game facility was added.
There are two homes within the grounds.
