Shane O'Donoghue (field hockey)


Shane O'Donoghue is an Irish field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for Glennane and the Irish national team.
With the Irish national team, he competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing ninth. At the 2018 World Cup, he became Ireland's all time topscorer with 94 goals.

Club career

He played club hockey for KHC Dragons in Belgium, which he rejoined in 2018 after having played for them between 2014 and 2016. After the 2019–20 season he returned to Glennane in Ireland.
