Balham Valley
in
Victoria Land
in
Antarctica
. It was named in
1957
by the
New Zealand
Northern
Survey
Party
of the
Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition
as being
descriptive
of its
appearance
from almost every
direction
.
