Sharafkhaneh
Sharafkhaneh is a city in the Central District of Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. Sharafkhaneh is situated on Lake Urmia. At the 2016 census, its population was 4,244, in 1,446 families.
"Sharafkhaneh" used to be one of the heavily travelled touristic villages. By the lake becoming dry, the value of the surrounding lands were reduced and created great financial problems for families.
