Shaun Evans (rugby union)


Shaun Evans is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for Scarlets regional team as a hooker or flanker.
Evans made his debut for the Carmarthen Quins in March 2015, and he had established himself as a first team regular by the 2015-16 season. Evans earned a call-up to the Wales U20 squad for the 2016 Junior Six Nations, where he scored three tries in 5 games. He earned another call-up for the Junior World Championships, where he made a further three appearances.
Evans earned his first professional contract with the Scarlets in 2016. However, he is yet to make an appearance for them, due to competition from the likes of John Barclay, James Davies and Will Boyde.
