Sheikhupura train–bus collision
On 3 July 2020, at least 20 people were killed and ten others were injured when Shah Hussain Express collided with a bus carrying Sikh pilgrims at an unmanned level crossing between Farooqabad and Bahalekay near Sachcha Sauda railway station in Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan. The dead included thirteen males and seven females. The bus which was travelling from Nankana Sahib to Peshawar, was carrying 30 passengers – all from the same family.
The train was a Karachi–Lahore express.
