Sher-Wood Airport


Sher-Wood Airport is a public use airport located one nautical mile northeast of the central business district of Plentywood, a city in Sheridan County, Montana, United States. It is owned by the city and county. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.

Sher-Wood Airport covers an area of 600 acres at an elevation of 2,264 feet above mean sea level. It has three runways: 12/30 is 3,900 by 75 feet with an asphalt surface; 8/26 is 2,951 by 60 feet with a turf surface; 16/34 is 1,601 by 83 feet with a turf surface.
