Shockmain Davis

Shockmain Nastase Davis is a former American football wide receiver. He attended Angelo State University.

Professional career

Davis was originally signed by the New England Patriots of the NFL in 2000 as an undrafted free agent. He played twelve games for the Patriots that year. Davis has also had stints in the NIFL and NFL Europe.
During a 2000 exhibition game against the New Orleans Saints, Davis was the subject of a humorous anecdote by first-year Monday Night Football commentator Dennis Miller. Immediately following a two-yard out route, the comedian deadpanned "And with that catch, Davis becomes the NFL's all-time leading receiver...among players named Shockmain." Miller continued "That's not a name you're going to see on a mug at Spencer gifts."
He last played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
