Shrimati
Shrimati or Shreemati, abbreviated Smt., is a widely accepted Indian honorific used when referring to a married woman in some Indian languages, including Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tulu, and sometimes in English as well. The equivalent title for men is Sri or Shree, which is a shortened version of Shriman or Shreeman.
The clear pronunciation in English would be "shreemati" and "shreeman". Mathi in Tamil means 'moon′, and Shrimati is a name of the goddess Saraswathi, so the name also means that the person being named as shrimati is to have great intelligence.
