Sidi Merouane
Sidi Merouane is a town and commune in Mila Province, Algeria. At the 1998 census it had a population of 20,018.
A substantial proportion of the Greek speaking inhabitants of Cargèse emigrated to Sidi Merouane in Algeria between 1874 and 1876. Of the total population of 1078 in 1872, it is estimated that 235 emigrated, all of them Greek speakers.
