Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition
in 1956–57, and mapped from these
photos

Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey
. Named by the
United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee
in 1960 for
Igor Sikorsky
,
