Simon Weatherstone
Simon Weatherstone is an English former footballer, who last played for Eastbourne Borough in the Conference National. The player started off his career as a striker but in recent times has reverted to a central midfield position.
Weatherstone started his career at Oxford United along with his brother Ross. He eventually left the club in February 2001, along with his brother Ross and went on to play for Boston United, Simon played a pivotal role in getting Boston United promoted to the Football League & winning the National Conference League in 2002.
He scored an 84th-minute penalty on the last day of the 2009/2010 season to keep Eastbourne in the Conference.
Weatherstone was released towards the end of the 2010/2011 season. He is currently First Team Coach at AFC Bournemouth.
