Sky News Tonight

Sky News Tonight is a weeknight news programme broadcast on Sky News from 7:00pm. It is presented by Dermot Murnaghan. First aired on 1 September 2014, it is Sky's flagship newscast, featuring special reports, in-depth analysis and interviews.
From 21 April 2016, Sky News ends the show at 8pm on Thursday to make room for the new debate show The Pledge. From Monday to Wednesday, the show ends at 9pm. On Friday, the show ends at 8:30pm to make room for Week in Review.
From 26 September 2016, as part of a new schedule change, Dermot Murnaghan has presented Sky News Tonight from Monday-Thursday, with Sophy Ridge presenting on Fridays.
If Ridge and Murgnahan aren't available, presenters such as Stephen Dixon, Gamal Fahnbulleh, Isabel Webster and Jayne Secker have been known to host the program. Sky's former political editor Faisal Islam also presented the show on occasion. The programme was formerly presented by Adam Boulton and Sarah Hewson.
