Snoqualmie Valley School District


The Snoqualmie Valley School District is located in King County, Washington about from Seattle at the foothills of Snoqualmie Pass. It encompasses over, making it geographically one of the largest school districts in Washington state. The district has an enrollment of approximately 6,000 students. The Mount Si high school has 3 and a half thousands students at the school!

History

Prior to 1945 there were three schools districts covering the area of present-day Snoqualmie Valley School District. They were the North Bend District, Snoqualmie District, and the Fall City District. These were consolidated into one large district in 1944. In the last decade, the total student population in this district has increased by 25%.

Schools

The Snoqualmie Valley School District contains six elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school, and one alternative school.

Secondary schools

In 2012, it was announced that Snoqualmie Middle School would become a ninth grade campus in the school year 2013-2014 because Mount Si High School was overfilled. It was reverted to a middle school in fall 2019.
