Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also simply known as the Social Democratic Party is a social-democratic political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is officially multi-ethnic, but gathers most support from Bosniaks.History
The SDP was reestablished in 1992 as the successor of the League of Communists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH branch of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, which had governed Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Yugoslav federation since World War II. The party was enlarged by the inclusion of the Socijaldemokrati BiH party to the original SDP.
The current president of the party is Nermin Nikšić.
The SDP is an associate of the Party of European Socialists and a member of the Socialist International.Elections
