Solgi Rural District
Solgi Rural District is a rural district in Khezel District, Nahavand County, Hamadan Province, Iran. As of the 2006 census, its population was 13,923, with 3,393 families. The rural district has 22 villages.
"Solgi" or "Seleki" refers to a noble family living in Nahavand, a historical town in the west of Iran. Their root goes back to the Seleucid Empire who ruled Iran for 220 years after the Alexander the Great conquered the country.
