Soraon (Assembly constituency)


Soraon is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the city of Soraon in the Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Soraon is one of five assembly constituencies in the Phulpur. Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 255 amongst 403 constituencies.
Currently this seat belongs to Apna Dal candidate Jamuna Prasad who won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Lagislative Elections defeating Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Geeta Devi by a margin of 17,735 votes.
