Sorn (singer)
Chonnasorn Sajakul, better known by the stage name Sorn, is a Thai singer based in South Korea. She is best known as the winner of K-Pop Star Hunt Season 1 in 2011, and later as a member of the South Korean girl group, CLC, under Cube Entertainment. She also produces videos for her YouTube channel Produsorn, which launched in 2019. On it, Sorn uploads vlogs and behind-the-scenes content for CLC.
Early life
When Sorn was a child, her mother allowed her to have vocal lessons to achieve her goal of becoming a singer. She also came from a fortunate background, as her father, Wanasthana Sajakul, works for the Prime Minister of Thailand and her brother Teerapat Sajakul is also a singer. In 2011, she competed in tvN's K-Pop Star Hunt and was named winner of the first season.In 2013, Sorn appeared in the documentary, Seoul: Capital of K-Pop where she talked about her trainee life and what it involved and appeared in a documentary which was focused on her future bandmate, Oh Seung-hee. She also did a collaboration song with G.NA called "Because You Are The One," sung in English.
Career
Sorn was revealed as the first member of the girl group CLC. The group officially debuted on March 19, 2015 with their debut extended play, First Love.fansign in 2016
CLC have released 7 mini-albums, as of June 2020.
