Soundbase

A soundbase or sound base is a special loudspeaker enclosure designed for a television to stand on. It creates a reasonable stereo effect from a single cabinet, and was invented to substitute for the relatively poor sound quality of loudspeakers built into flat-screen TVs.
Soundbases are similar in function to soundbars, except that the latter are designed to be placed on a shelf separate to the TV or hung on the wall below it. The shape of soundbases typically enables them to have better bass than soundbars; soundbars hence often have a separate subwoofer to compensate.

Soundbars vs. Speakers?

The basic difference between Soundbars and speakers is the factor or convenience. According to the buyer’s need, both the devices come with their own assistance but to be more accurate, soundbars are suitable for your TVs so that it takes less space around and also delivers quality sound. Sounders are differently made just to be perfect enough to complement your smart TV set with the help of additional features like the technology of Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth, etc, which is different in the case of speakers. For another instance, speakers come with availability in configurations like 5.1, 7.1, etc. It is on the need of a buyer to one of the two as per their requirement as we can definitely see that both of their core purposes stays the same.
