South African Internet Exchange


The South African Internet eXchange is an Internet exchange point which serves Internet traffic in Southern Africa. SAIX allows local Internet service providers and network operators to exchange traffic within Southern Africa.
SAIX is run by Telkom, a semi-privatised South African company. At present, SAIX provides service to two thirds of South Africa's ISPs.
