South Bethlehem Downtown Historic District
South Bethlehem Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 288 contributing buildings and 2 contributing objects. It encompasses a concentration of late-19th through early 20th century commercial, municipal, industrial and residential buildings in Bethlehem. Most of the buildings date from about 1900 to 1935. Notable non-residential buildings include several Bethlehem Steel-related buildings, the South Bethlehem Post Office, Bethlehem Public Library, Protection Firehouse, E.P. Wilbur Trust Building, Holy Infancy Catholic Church, St. John Windish Lutheran Church, Windish Hall, and the Banana Factory.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.Gallery
