Southern Regional College


Southern Regional College is a further and higher education college in the southern area of Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom.
The Southern Regional College was formed on 1 August 2007 when three further education colleges merged to become the SRC. The new SRC comprises the former FE colleges at Armagh, Newry and Upper Bann. There are a total of six campuses across the geographical region and the college incorporates two council districts.
Southern Regional College is the largest further and higher education college in Northern Ireland outside Belfast.
At further education level, the college offers Level 2 traineeships, Apprenticeships, Extended Diplomas and A-levels. Full-time and part-time courses are available. SRC also offers apprenticeship training programmes.
SRC currently caters for approximately 32,000 students each year and has in excess of 900 members of staff.

The college offers a wide range of courses: in excess of 100 courses for full-time further education; in excess of 80 courses on a full-time and part-time higher education capacity and in excess of 1320 courses on a part-time vocational & recreational basis.
