Mexico

Sierra Madre Occidental

eastern
Sonora

western
Chihuahua

to southwestern
Durango

natural
habitats
are
conifer
forests
, commonly along
low
rivers and
streams
, its
breeding
habitat
. It is a
rare species
threatened
by habitat
disturbance
, including
alterations
causing
the
desiccation
of streams and
soils
.
