St Robert of Newminster Catholic School


St Robert of Newminster Catholic School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form college located in Washington in the City of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England. The school is named after Saint Robert of Newminster. Mr Dean Juric is currently head teacher and Mr Gregory Moorhouse chair of governors. The school's former executive headteacher, Nick Hurn, was awarded the OBE for services to education.
St Robert of Newminster Catholic School is a voluntary aided school and sixth form administered by Sunderland City Council and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The school also has a specialism in the humanities. It offers GCSEs and BTECs.
