Stain Studio


Stain Studio is a Bulgarian music company dealing with audio and video production and concert management. It was founded in May 1999 by Gospodin "Gepi" Gospodinov and Kliment Kalev, two Bulgarian musicians who decided to create and run a studio of their own in order to record the firstt album of Gepi's band, Stain.

In 2000, Stain Studio started working on video production as well. Stain Studio's crew has shot and produced music videos for a large part of Bulgaria's contemporary music scene, including:
Stain Studio has two professional audio recording rooms and a green box video hall, with a total area of more than 300 square meters.
Stain Studio broadened its range of activities in 2002 when a decision was taken to not only produce albums, but to release and distribute them as well. About a dozen bands and solo performers have signed a record deal with Stain Studio, including Crowfish, Cigaretta, The Revenge Project, Fyeld, Last Hope, Ostava, Sepuko 6 na Svetlyo Zhilev. Stain Studio has the legal rights to sell not only its own releases, but also to distribute the works issued by No Way Records, Years of Pain Records, Positive Thoughts Records and Freecore Records in Bulgaria.
In 2003, Stain Studio began arranging bigger concerts for some of the best-known bands in Bulgaria. The company's crew has promoted sold-out live performances by Ostava and Millennitta, Last Hope, Stampin Ground and Backfire and Sodom. The latter was filmed by Stain Studio's crew and released at the end of 2005 by the German record label SPV as part of Sodom's DVD Lords of Depravity - Part I.
