.
Discovered
by the
German Antarctic Expedition
under
Ritscher
, 1938–39, and named for
Willy Stein
,
boatswain
of the
expedition
. They were
surveyed
by the
Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition
, between 1949–52.
