Stoneville, Newfoundland and Labrador


Stoneville is a small community located 3 km off Route 331 along Route 335 in Newfoundland and Labrador. During this drive you can see a large fish hawk nest which is the pride and joy of Stoneville tourism. Driving through Stoneville will lead you to the Fogo Island and Change Islands ferries or turning slightly left will lead you to the small community of Port Albert.
The largest and highest quality convenience store is located 100m past the WELCOME TO STONEVILLE sign. This is the local Wilson's Gas Station owned and operated by Mrs. Tina Hodder. The post office has also now been added to the stores location.
The other convenience store is located at the other end of the town and owned by Ray Ginn. He still rents NES video games and loves to sell fabric to the old women in town.
The town's population is approximately 250 during working season and about 400 during Pogge season.
There is no longer any education facilities in the area as the old elementary school shut down due to lack of children.
It is now a storage room, that's mostly torn down.
The biggest celebrity in town is the rap/hip-hop artist known as Xhale. He loves Buicks, Dodge chargers, and making ice.
The biggest celebration of the year is the gathering for the annual fireworks show, which consists of lighting matches and throwing them in the air.
They have a nice church. The local townspeople like going. They are happy people.
