Stratford station (Connecticut)

The Stratford station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, located in Stratford, Connecticut. The National Helicopter Museum is located in the eastbound station building, which no longer serves passengers.
The station has 294 parking spaces, all owned by the state.
Waterbury Branch service at Stratford was suspended indefinitely on April 6, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Shore Line East service was suspended indefinitely on March 16.

Station layout

This station has two high-level side platforms, each four cars long. The northern platform, adjacent to Track 3, is generally used by westbound trains. The southern platform, adjacent to Track 4, is generally used by eastbound trains. The New Haven Line has four tracks at this location. The two inner tracks, not adjacent to either platform, are used only by express trains. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor services pass through the station on all four tracks.
A ticket purchasing kiosk is located at the exterior of the building on the northern platform station house.
