Sulfur dioxygenase is an enzyme with systematic name S-sulfanylglutathione:oxygen oxidoreductase. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
This enzyme contains iron.
In humans, sulfur dioxygenase is needed to detoxify sulfide.
