Sun Yu (badminton)
Sun Yu is a badminton player from China. She was a part of the Chinese winning team for the 2014 and 2016 Uber Cup.
After a long struggle from serious injury problems, she officially announced her retirement from the national team on 16 August 2018, and from the international badminton circuit in 2019, at a very young age of 25. The last tournament she played was the 2017 World Championships where she ended her campaign as quarter-finalist.

BWF Superseries
The BWF Superseries, launched on 14 December 2006 and implemented in 2007, is a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation. BWF Superseries has two level such as Superseries and Superseries Premier. A season of Superseries features twelve tournaments around the world, which introduced since 2011, with successful players invited to the Superseries Finals held at the year end.Women's singles
