Svetlana Karpinskaya - stage actor and film actor from Russia. She was born on September 16, 1937 in Saint Petersburg and died on February 18, 2017 in Saint Petersburg. She graduated from the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, the Saint Petersburg State University. She was awarded the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, the Merited Artist of the RSFSR, the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II class.
