Swedish Pentecostal Movement


The Swedish Pentecostal Movement is a Pentecostal movement in Sweden. Many, but not all, of these, are members of The Pentecostal Alliance of Independent Churches.

History

The movement has its origins in the establishment of the first Pentecostal Church in Stockholm in 1910.
In 2001, The Pentecostal Alliance of Independent Churches was founded.
Swedish Pentecostal missionaries Daniel Berg and Gunnar Vingren traveled to Brazil in 1910 and founded the General Convention of the Assemblies of God in Brazil.
The Pentecostal Alliance of Independent Churches had 439 churches and 87,392 members.
