Syriac Catholic Eparchy of Cairo


The Syriac Catholic Eparchy of Cairo is an eparchy of the Syriac Catholic Church sui iuris covering Egypt.
It is immediately dependent on the Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, not part of his or any other ecclesiastical province.
Its cathedral episcopal see is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary in the Egyptian national capital city of Cairo.

History

Established on 3 December 1965 on territory previously without proper Odrinary of the particular church.
