Systemic
vasculitides
are a group of
heterogeneous
diseases
that
share
the
etiology
in terms of
inflammation
of the
blood vessels
– more
specifically
the
arterioles
– with
systemic
envolvement. Some
examples
of this group include
granulomatosis with polyangiitis
,
polyarteritis nodosa
,
Behçet's disease
, and
HSP
.
