Tadeusz Breyer


Tadeusz Breyer - Polish sculptor and medallic artist. He studied at School of Fine Arts in Kraków. Then, he left to Academy in Florence. In 1904 he moved to Warsaw. From 1910 to 1952, except periods of world wars, he taught on Academy of Fine Arts. While his working on Academy he educated many Polish sculptors, e.g.:, Józef Gosławski,, and Franciszek Strynkiewicz. The most part of his works was destroyed in the time of the Second World War. The most famous of his sculptures is monument of general Józef Sowiński, which is located in Warsaw.
