Taiga (OOIOO album)
Taiga is the fifth studio album by Japanese experimental rock band OOIOO. It was released on July 4, 2006.
Taiga marks the debut of Ai on drums, joining Yoshimi P-We and longtime guitarist Kayan. Aya returns on bass after her debut on the band's previous album, Kila Kila Kila. The tracks "UMA" and "UMO" were remixed on the band's 2007 album Eye Remix.
Title meaning
The English use of the word taiga refers to a subarctic zone of evergreen coniferous forests, while the Japanese word taiga means " river". It's also possible for taiga to be the romaji form of the English word tiger.Track listing
