Tanja Savić


Tatjana "Tanja" Savić is a Serbian pop-folk singer. Born and raised in the village of Radinac near Smederevo to a family of Romani descent, she gained fame as the runner-up in the televised singing competition Zvezde Granda in 2004. Her debut album, Tako mlada, was then released in June the following year to general success. Savić received further notice for her songs "Suknjica" and "Gde ljubav putuje" which were featured in the movies Guča! and Srpski ožiljci, respectively. After facing career setbacks, she managed to retrieve popularity with her fourth album Stranci, on which she collaborated with popular hip-hop duo Corona and Rimski.
She has also appeared in the second season of Serbian celebrity talent show Tvoje lice zvuči poznato in 2014, finishing in 8th place.
Since 2011, Tanja Savić has been married to Serbian-Australian businessman Dušan Jovančević with whom she has two sons.
