Tauanui
River
is a
river
of the
South Wairarapa District
of the
Wellington Region
of
New Zealand's
North Island
. It
flows
northwest
from its
source
in the
Aorangi Range
to
reach
the
Ruamahanga River
close to the
southern
end of
Lake Wairarapa
.
