Technicien supérieur des études et de l'exploitation de l'aviation civile


In France, the corps of Technicien supérieur des études et de l'exploitation de l'aviation civile of the Directorate General for Civil Aviation is a B-class job on the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing.

Enrollment

The competitive examination of TSEEAC is for people holder of the Baccalauréat. Between about 30 and 60 entries may be available each year. After the enrollment, students are trained during three years at the École nationale de l'aviation civile of Toulouse.

Career

This corps has five grades :
The TSEEAC, under certain conditions, can be assigned to two functional positions of management:
There are also possibilities to move to another corps of DGAC like air traffic controllers, Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel or Ingénieur des études et de l'exploitation de l'aviation civile. They should go for one or two years at ENAC to perform a complementary training.

Job

TSEEAC can do many jobs at the Directorate General for Civil Aviation : technical assistant, technical operating controller, aerodrome air traffic controller, ramp manager, aeronautical information operator, officer of the regional offices of information and assistance in flight, investigation assistant,...

Training

In 2010, a reform of initial training TSEEAC has been initiated. It is now called TSA "Technicien supérieur de l'aviation" and has, since 2011, two curriculum:
