He made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy on 5 January 2015. He made his Twenty20 debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on 29 January 2017. He made his List A debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 20 September 2018.In February 2017, he was bought by the Kings XI Punjab team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for.
In January 2018, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 IPL auction.
