The Adventures of Frontier Fremont


The Adventures of Frontier Fremont is a 1976 film directed by Richard Friedenberg starring Dan Haggerty.
It was made by Sunn Classic Pictures. Dan Haggerty, who plays the role of "Jacob Fremont", who's character is from 19th-century's St. Louis, gives up his job as a tinsmith in favour of a life in the mountains. Here he becomes friends with the animals and with other like-minded frontiersmen. Denver Pyle, a veteran Sunn Classics performer, co-stars as "the old mountaineer, "Big Bill" Driggers." The Adventures of Frontier Fremont stars, Haggerty, Pyle and Don Shanks; all three appeared In the TV series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams and Fremont, just as Adams in the TV series, protects his family, the animals, from those that wish to harm them.

Production

Parts of the film were shot in Park City, Kamas, and Uinta National Forest in Utah.
