The Cheerleading Worlds

The Cheerleading Worlds, or Cheerleading World Championships, colloquially known as Worlds, is an annual international championship event for cheerleading in the United States. It is hosted by the U.S. All Star Federation. The Worlds is held in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in April.
Level 5 and 6 cheerleading teams are invited by obtaining a bid from one of multiple regional competitions. Two types of bids are offered: a "paid bid", where all competition expenses are covered, and a "at-large bid". Around 12,500 athletes from over 40 countries compete every year. The Worlds is a three-day event consisting of preliminary competitions, semi finals and finals. As of 2020, new divisions were planned for the Worlds, so that teams from levels 5 through 7 would be able to compete.
