The Ghost and the Guest is a 1943 American film directed by William Nigh.

Plot

Webster Frye and his newly-wed wife Jackie travel to an old house in the country for their honeymoon. They begin to think the house is haunted, but it turns out that the house is being used as a gangster hideout.

Cast

The Ghost and the Guest was the first film written by Morey Amsterdam, who had previously written lyrics for the film With Love and Kisses. His screenplay was based on a story by Milt Gross.
