"Thunder in My Heart" is a song recorded by Leo Sayer for the album Thunder in My Heart, and originally released as a single in 1977. It reached number 22 in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it reached number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 35 on the Cashbox chart. It became a number-one hit in the United Kingdom when a remix by DJ Meck was released as a single in 2006. "Thunder in My Heart Again" stayed at number one on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. It also became a hit in several other countries, including Finland, Italy and the Netherlands.
In 2007 Leo Sayer appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom and claimed credit for this song getting to number one as he said: "It wasn't just because it was a hot tune, it was all because 'Oh my God, it's Leo Sayer'."

In the music video, when the female dancers start dancing, this scene is a homage to Xanadu. When the music video was originally released online, it appeared as it was released. However, one version lacks the scenes featuring Leo Sayer and the accompanying sound effects.
