Timachidas of Rhodes
Timachidas of Rhodes was an ancient Greek philologist from the island of Rhodes who lived in c. 100 BC. He wrote a prose treatise in at least four books entitled Glosses. He was also known for composing an hexameter poem entitled Deipna or "Dinners". Timachidas is quoted fourteen times by Athenaeus and occasionally by others.
